Since 2012, Science14 has been the meeting place in Brussels for discussions on the state of innovation and entrepreneurship around Europe. The Innovation Space is created around a series of conferences, speeches and motivational keynotes, panel discussions, interactive workshops, competitions, policy and business events, as well as informal networking sessions.
Science14 partners with European Young Innovators Forum (EYIF), the leading foundation for youth innovation in Europe, represented by a community of young innovators and experts who believe in innovation, risk and change.
The innovation community is a wide group of European young innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, policy makers and members of the EU institutions who meet, share ideas, experiences and best practices in order to boost the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Europe.
The 2014 edition of the UnConvention, held under the High Patronage of the President of the European Parliament, was organized around the idea “Embrace failure, celebrate success” and welcomed Neelie Kroes, Vice President of the European Commission for Digital Agenda, who acknowledged the importance of the initiative and delivered the following key message to European startups: “Let’s Disrupt Europe, we need it!”.
