The European Project Accelerator: policy, funding, good practices and partners
Science14, in cooperation with European Project Association (EPA) and European Academy for Education and Social Research organises training courses on EU project development and management in order to facilitate the route to funding. The initiative is open to all clients of Science14 and SMEs, start-ups, enterprises who want to apply for the first time and to those who want to acquire specific skills.
The European Projects Accelerator is a training programme on project proposal development delivered under the guidance of European Commission experts. The training is built on interactive sessions aimed to create new business opportunities or products through EU funds and find the partners to support such initiatives through brokerage events. The programme also includes support in defining a clear project idea and funding options, identifying similar projects, related events and dissemination of the results.
The Accelerator was launched by Science14 and EPA in September 2014 around a roundtable discussion with EU Institutions representatives and private stakeholders on the opportunities for SMEs and the financial instruments for business growth. The event was endorsed by Pedro Ortún, Director, European Commission, DG Enterprise and Industry and Alejo Vidal Cuadras, Vice-President of the European Parliament.
